The anti-fall device of the residential elevator car includes a shell, a traction wire rope, a brake wire rope, a main spring, a spring lower plate, a return spring, a crank, a connecting rod, an eccentric wheel, a buffer wheel, a brake shoe, and a fixed brake shoe. The shell is a rectangular structure with a guide groove in the middle for the spring lower plate to move up and down along it. The shell is fixed horizontally on the top of the elevator car; the traction wire rope is connected to the spring lower plate, and its position is at the symmetrical center of the device; one end of the main spring is connected to the shell, and the other end is connected to the spring lower plate; there are two cranks, connecting rods, eccentric wheels, brake shoes, and fixed brake shoes, and there are four buffer wheels, which are symmetrically distributed on both sides of the device, and the left and right sides have exactly the same structure; the return spring is installed between the two cranks; one end of the crank is connected to the connecting rod, and the other end is connected to the fixed shaft on the shell, and the connection is hinged; the connecting rod connects the crank and the eccentric wheel, and the connection is hinged; the eccentric wheel is located near the ends of the device; the buffer wheels are symmetrically distributed on the upper and lower sides of the brake shoes; the brake shoes are installed on the eccentric wheel; the fixed brake shoes are fixed at the center of the ends of the device.
The anti-fall device has a symmetrical structure with exactly the same structure on both sides. When the elevator is operating normally, the main spring is in a compressed state, and the brake wire rope does not contact the brake shoe or the fixed brake shoe. When the elevator car falls due to the breakage of the traction wire rope or the sudden loss of traction, the main spring will extend, and through the action of the crank connecting rod and the eccentric wheel, the brake shoe and the fixed brake shoe will press the brake wire rope to achieve automatic braking effect and avoid elevator falling accidents.
